Seamus Heaney Home

Summer 2021 Arts Programme announced

HomePlace welcomes a return to live performance with a series of Sunday shows in the Back Yard. Featuring the cream of Northern Ireland’s musical talent, these shows will be held outdoors and will last an hour. Why not order a picnic box from the HomePlace café and make an afternoon of it. Tickets are limited to 40 and we advise that the audience come dressed for the outdoors!

ANTHONY TONER

Anthony Toner makes a relaxed return to the HomePlace for a laid back Summer Sunday in the Backyard appearance, just as he celebrates the release of a brand new album, Six Inches of Water. The new collection features a clutch of songs inspired by east Belfast, covering everything from the Blitz to the old corporation baths at Templemore Avenue. For this performance, you can also expect a selection of favourite songs from Anthony’s back catalogue and maybe some cover versions with summer associations.
