We are pleased to sponsor a bursary for the John Hewitt International Summer School 2026, supporting opportunities for writers, artists and creative thinkers to take part in one of Ireland’s leading literary and cultural events.

The John Hewitt International Summer School brings together writers, artists, academics and audiences for a vibrant programme of talks, discussions, workshops and creative exchange. The annual event creates a space for ideas, learning and inspiration, while celebrating literature and the arts.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting creativity, culture and literary engagement, Seamus Heaney HomePlace is proud to contribute to a bursary that will help provide access to the Summer School experience.

Applications for bursaries are currently open and interested applicants are encouraged to apply before the closing deadline.

Applications close Friday 22nd May at 5pm.
