So Sing On with Seán Keane

Seán Keane from County Galway has been described as one of the greatest musical finds of the last few decades. Traditional Irish, folk, and even country and blues songs all lend themselves to his unique and unforgettable voice.

Growing up among singers and musicians, Seán learned the sean-nós-style of singing in the heart of his family. His career began as part of Reel Union, a group that also featured his sister Dolores and accordion player Máirtín O’Connor. Later, he was part of Arcady, with such well-known names such as Johnny ‘Ringo’ McDonagh, Sharon Shannon, and Frances Black.

Since embarking on a solo career in 1993, all of his solo albums have been platinum sellers and he remains in constant demand. Today, Seán Keane continues to delight audiences all over the world with his live performances and innate vocal artistry.
