A singer and songwriter whose music is defined by passion, lyricism, and
a respect of tradition coupled with a willingness to defy expectations, Luka Bloom is one of Ireland’s best-respected
contemporary folk artists. He has been writing and recording now for almost 40
years and always returns to the words and to the song. His latest album, Refuge,creates a home within music and in 2013 he published a book of
photos, essays and verse, aptly called Homeplace.
