Summer activities at HomePlace
Celebrate a summer of creativity, learning and community at Seamus Heaney HomePlace. Our exciting Summer Education Programme invites children, young people, families and lifelong learners to explore new skills, spark their imaginations and make lasting memories through a wide range of engaging activities.
From hands-on tote bag making and relaxing buggy walks to podcasting sessions, drama workshops and interactive creative experiences, this year’s programme offers something for every age and interest. Whether you’re discovering a new passion, developing your creative talents or simply looking for fun and meaningful ways to spend the summer, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get involved.
As we celebrate 10 years of Seamus Heaney HomePlace, we’re delighted to introduce a special new addition to our Summer Education Programme – the very first HomePlace Poetry Lab. Inspired by Seamus Heaney’s legacy of creativity, language and place, this unique initiative will encourage participants to experiment with words, share ideas and discover the joy of poetry in a welcoming and inspiring environment.
Join us this summer and be part of a season filled with creativity, discovery, connection and fun at Seamus Heaney HomePlace.
