Seamus Heaney Home

‘Music, Poems and Songs for the Soul’ Returns!

Following on from the success of their sell-out show in
January 2020, that brought a ceilidh atmosphere to the Helicon, Anne Tracey and
Friends make a welcome return to HomePlace early in the New Year. Join some of the finest musical talent from Mid-Ulster
and beyond for an afternoon of song, music and poetry exploring the emotional
pull of home. This lively session once again promises nourishment for both
heart and soul.

As well as her brother Michael Corey, Anne Tracey will be
joined on stage by Moneymore poet Maura Johnston and Derry singer-songwriter
Roy Arbuckle, with Eddie O’Donnell on guitar and keyboard and Tom Byrne on accordion
and harmonica providing stirring musical accompaniment. All the way from Long Island comes singer-songwriter
Brendan Corey, side by side with banjo player Ken Edwards.

Says Anne Tracey: ‘What a treasure it is to be back in the Seamus Heaney HomePlace performing live. This beautiful venue holds a special place
in my heart and in the hearts of all the singers and musicians joining me on
the afternoon.’
